Our Osteospermum greets the sun. [click to embiggen]
Another life-enhancing Spring morning and, apart from work, all's well with the world...
Time for another waft through the gorgeous lives of impossibly glamorous people in exotic locations, methinks, courtesy of the faboo Soft Tempo Lounge:
Ah. That's better...
[Music: Shiro Sagisu - Barefoot In The Park. Film: Scacco alla regina (1969)]
Sorry you have to work, but the flower is gorgeous. I wasn’t meant to work for a living either. Glad I embiggened.
ReplyDeleteIt's the flowers that matter. Work, not so much. It pays the bills. Jx
DeleteHow lovely and vapid... the film, not the flower. That poor girl hasn't a thought in her head. I believe her residence is actually a metaphor for the state of her mind... giant, spacious, somewhat empty... Have a lovely. Thursday all ready? Where's the Boodles?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine sitting through much more than that three minutes of her glamorous simpering, no... Jx
DeleteGood music choice for today. We are getting London weather me thinks...we are getting rain now through to the weekend.
ReplyDeleteLondon's not even getting "London weather" at the moment - 20C/68F and sunny! In March..? Very pleasant, indeed. Jx
DeleteI've just checked my osteospermum Ice Blue, no signs of a comeback, I think it flowered itself to death last year, oh well, it won't be missed, I didn't really like it, I was only attracted to it cause it had 'sperm' in it's name.
ReplyDeleteJust looked that one up - I have never been a fan of double-flowered varieties of what should be simple blooms, so it wouldn't be too much of a wrench if it has curled up and died...
DeleteThere simply aren't enough sperm-themed flowers, in my opinion - but then there's this one. Jx
Oh dear! The video link isn't working for me, not even if I try to play it on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteIt was the security settings on Firefox on this PC, which I have now fixed - phew! No other devices nor any of our dear readers should be affected... Jx
