    I loved that TV series, and the film, and the songs, and the leg warmers, and the dancing on car bonnets - I discovered that they are easily dented.
    Yes, very sad.

      If you're going to dance on a car bonnet, I'd suggest a Landrover. I doubt you'd dent that. Jx

    Quite sad about this one. And rather surprised. I'd always hoped to see her at a gay pride festival. She really struggled with her record company... it ended up defining and limiting her career to such a great extent. Strange how money ruins things and that talent goes unheard because men need to win and control. Sigh. Too sad.

      She was apparently very successful touring Europe but, like so many artists so utterly defined by an era, never quite returned to those dizzying heights. Jx
