Cold, wet, miserable, and my wi-fi router's still rebooting every two minutes so I braved the elements and came to the office...
Nothing cheers me up as much as the discovery of a new "diva", however, so let's jolly ourselves up a bit on this Tacky Music Monday with one of Spain's - ahem - finest - in a triple-bill of tackiness!

Oh my god, the first should have been perdido! Technology has come a long way. I wouldn’t have gone with those special effects (bandy legs), costumes, backgrounds, or choreography. She does have a great voice. And I like that she’s “keem of da here, top of da leap.” Juan Carlos Calderon can lead my orchestra any time.

Judging by the fact I have discovered and posted so many of these terrible "special effects" videos, they must have been a speciality of Spanish variety shows in the 1970s. I can just imagine the backstage camera technicians vying for who could get the most ridiculous backdrop for the artists that week! I mean, a hammock hanging between two cliffs..?!! Jx

Delete"Keep warm"?????? Chr*************mighty! It's 30+ and climbing , the wind is not far behind and we're wondering which bloody politician has stolen our monsoon. I may have mentioned that I am not fond of the hots. More snow bunny me, especially if someone keeps my glass filled! (By the way, the Heliconia rostrata are going bananas. 12 outside the kitchen window and gawdknoshowmany in Tarzan's back passage!)
