  2. I love the movie, but have to be in the right mood to watch it. It's a lot of noise. After a gin, it helps!

It's the weekend... and as I told the Lad in the words of Martha- "Look, sweetheart, I can drink you under any goddamn table you want, so don't worry about me.

    1. George: "You can sit around with the gin running out of your mouth; you can humiliate me; you can tear me to pieces all night, that's perfectly okay, that's all right."
      Martha: "You can stand it!"
      George: "I cannot stand it!"
Martha: "You can stand it, you married me for it!"

  3. I haven't seen this before. I might have to look for it. We go through phases where sometimes we seek out classic movies to watch. I mean, there are just SO MANY Movies! Some like It Hot is one of my favorites and Bell, Book and Candle is fun too!

    1. It is brilliant - but could not be any further from either of the films you mentioned if it tried! Jx

    2. A first blush I thought it was 'A Streetcar Named Desire.'

    3. Oh, A Streetcar Named Desire is another fabulously camp OTT film, alright. You're getting a bit closer to the genre with that one! Jx
