Won't somebody help me chase these shadows away?

RIP, the lovely Richard Chamberlain (31st March 1934 - 29th March 2025)

We may have lost an hour in bed today - but British Summer Time is here! Yay!

I have made the most of the beautiful, warm sunshine today, and tackled another couple of huge pots - a phlox and a geranium [yes, we do have a lot of each], split up and repotted, all the while accompanied by the chilled-out sounds of Radio 2 - and trying to drown out the demon children next door who, to add insult to injury, now have a small, yappy dog to keep them hyped-up and screaming. I am going to thank their parents profusely next time I see them...

Speaking of "chilled-out", how about another faboo choon from our "house band" Postmodern Jukebox? That'll do nicely for "Sunday Music"!

Wonderful, as ever.

  1. I would not be averse to Mr Chamberlain and his shorts lounging in my pool while I do spot of gardening. He'll have to watch out for the frogs and frogspawn, though.

Good luck with your neighbours. Presumably the dog isn't big enough to eat the children?

    1. That vile dog - a little white fluffball creature that just yaps all the time - will hopefully be a fox snack at some stage. And the demon spawn, too... Jx

  2. Richard Chamberlain sure was good looking. To be honest, for some reason I thought he'd already passed. I'm bad. We too have had a absolutely glorious weekend.

    1. It is strange, isn't it, when you hear of the passing of some people, and didn't remember that they were even still alive? Glad to hear you're enjoying the sunshine, too - clink, clink, sweetie! Jx

  3. Mr. Chamberlain appears to have camel toe.

  4. Richard Chamberlain was dreamy. What a shame about the imps and the yappy dog. PMJB and Gimme Gimme... the epitome of cool.

  6. Richard C was a nice looking chap, bless him.
Sorry to read about your neighbouring commotion. I think screaming kids are worse than yappy dogs, BUT, a combination possibly needs hosepipe action - good luck!

    1. I thought an air pistol, or at a push a pea-shooter might sort them. Jx
