It's apparently from a made-for-TV "modernised" live action take on the Disney version of Cinderella, starring (bizarrely) Brandy (of "Brandy & Monica" fame) in the title role, Whoopi Goldberg, and Whitney-fucking-Houston as the Fairy Godmother! I never heard of it, either. Jx
I do remember that version. I didn't realize they went the whole nine yards and cast Bernadette as the evil stepmother??? Hmmm. Very weird. Do you remember Diana Ross doing a television movie? I think she may have played someone homeless... like Lucy in Stone Pillows.
The only film I saw Miss Ross in was Lady Sings the Blues. Oh, and I've seen about two minutes of The Wiz before turning it off in horror. Jx
PS Don't forget here in the UK, we wouldn't get as many of these "made-for-TV-movies" as you do in your schedules (unless one went searching for such things on TCM or similar). We have our own "crap TV" shows to contend with.
True but ; I am what I am. I don't need praise, I don't need pity And I don't care what Miss Bernadette Peters thinks about me ! ( what a bitch - Love it and will use it )
I know too.

Or Fred Astaire
You're not Sydney Tafler, I'm not Dirk Bogarde
I'm not very stylish and you're not avant garde
Or Lionel Blair

Indeed. Jx
What is this from? I love Bernadette. Mack and Mabel is one of my all-time favorite musicals.
