You just leave it all up to me; I'll show you what it's all about

Built by the first Earl of Suffolk, Lord Treasurer to James I, the Jacobean-style Audley End House is one of the most magnificent of its type in England.

And this fabulous location, dear reader, is where we will be this Sunday - for an open-air concert by the legend that is Sir Tom Jones, Tom Jones!

The excitement is building...

"Normal" service will resume on Monday (or Tuesday, depending how late we get back)...

    1. Audley End House has loads of bedrooms. If I was staying there, I wouldn't be sharing! Jx

    2. A few decades ago, most definitely! These days he's more "venerable old man" than "Sex Bomb" - although he did sing that number at the Audley End concert, and women still screamed. I didn't see much in the way of knicker-throwing, though... Jx

  6. Tom Jones' "Kiss" was featured on Now XIII - the first Now compilation that I ever bought - and as such, got a LOT of play!

    1. You're such a whippersnapper...

Looking back at my diary, 1994 was a busy year, with holidays/trips to Tunisia, the Gower peninsula, Bath, Morlaix in Brittany, St Ives, Bristol, Ilfracombe, Amsterdam, Bournemouth and London (including my first ever visit to Kew Gardens). I don't think I bought any NTWICM LPs that year...! Jx
