I'm not ready for anything - I think it's any day but Tuesday; I have to keep reminding myself of what year it is; and I'm have a load of twinkly lights to pack away - neatly. I am not fond of January. Sx
I have yet to hear anyone, ever, say "Oh, good, January's here." Miserable weather, back to the crap that work throws at us, and still a while to go before even the snowdrops start flowering. Yuk. Jx
I overslept this morning, started work from home and stayed there. I just couldn't. 2023 may not be my year. Yet. Fortunately my boss is OOO for the week, so... I might be working from home all week. Kizzes.
Funny enough, I can't bear working from home, so I go to one or 'tother of the council offices every day. At least I can have a work-life split that way, and not have to make work phonecalls and trudge through emails and reports while at the same desk I sit at to do my blogs... Jx
There is a bright side (or not), today means you're one day closer to retirement! Of course, that's still many years away, but still the thought can be helpful. (I hope) Chin up, tits out, sweetpea! xoxo
I honestly can't afford to retire. I only joined my first pension scheme a decade ago, and I certainly won't have any savings to live off. That elusive lottery win is my only hope... Jx
Thanks for the reminder. I checked my Once ticket from last week. I didn’t win either. And that’s that.
ReplyDeleteBack to the world of dreams... Jx

He certainly helped ease the pain of the first day back... Jx
DeletePS As for the Chihuahua, it doesn't look like there's much meat on the thing, but I wonder if there is a recipe?
