The man who designed the Seventies

What connects these iconic and familiar items, each intrinsically associated with the 1970s?

...they were all the brainchild of one person - the frighteningly prodigious designer Tom Karen, whose death was recently announced.

What a remarkable man.

    1. My Grandad had one, because he only had a motorbike licence and at the time that was valid to drive a three-wheeler. I have very fond memories of that little "pig's-head-on-wheels"! Jx
