    happy St George's Day!
    The perfect multicultural patron saint. A nice Turkish boy who died in Israel the dragon was an Italian invention.

    Not only do we share him with all the other places you mentioned he is also the patron saint of
    armourers,
    farmers
    sufferers of the plague and syphilis.
