Meanwhile, at Kew Gardens today...

...we had horrendous, stormy downpours!

It was dry in the Palm House.

  1. Kew gardens was so much more impressive than I expected. Especially liked the teeny tiny cast iron spiral stairs.

    1. Agreed - although they did have some of the ventilation windows open, so there were still spots where we got rained upon! Jx

    1. One thing you can be sure of in the UK is unpredictable weather - last year we hit 40C, this year it's been utterly miserable. The only bit of "summer" we experienced was in June. Spring was crap, and here we are heading into August and it's been peeing down for weeks... Jx

  4. Kew is fab.
So pleased that we are members and can go when ever we like. A sunny day would be preferable (if we ever get one).
