      I've only ever been there once. In November. It wasn't anywhere as much fun as the people in this clip were having... Jx

    Man oh man, Blackpool looks like an absolute gas! I was especially struck by the Champagne on draught.

      I think the boys and girls may have got all dolled up for the Pathé Newsreel cameras rather than for the funfair rides... Jx

    I have to wear a 1950's cut of bathing suit. And speedo makes one. I just feel like a sausage in casing when I wear it.

      I avoid skimpy swimwear for similar reasons. In fact, I haven't been swimming (or even paddling) for over a quarter of a century. Jx

    Oh pour avoir une machine a voyager dans le temps et retourner en vacances a Blackpool 1957. Les ploungers anglais etaient un delice tout comme les scenes des maneges du carnaval. *d'Anjou
