As I'm trolling off with chums to South Kensington for the rave-reviewed Diva exhibition at the V&A this afternoon, I thought I would dig out an old fave - the utterly remarkable Signorina LaLa McCallan!

Knowing the V&A, this exhibition is bound to go on tour round the world - like David Bowie Is, The Cult of Beauty: The Aesthetic Movement 1860-1900 [or, as it was re-titled in the US "The Victorian Avant-Garde 1860 – 1900" for some bizarre reason], Dior, Mary Quant and so many others did - so you never know! Jx
