And then, I've decided, if I don't see a need, I won't be going in much after that at all... maybe once a week. I am now spoiled, love my routine, and do not like being around people one iota. I too have become "spoiled" by the routine that lockdown has thrown our way but, conversely, I have hate the imposition of my employer upon my home. Work is work, home is MY space, and in my mind never the twain should meet.
I am the first one in our team to venture forth - sixteen months after last setting foot in the office - and lo and behold, I found a few people who've been in situ throughout the entire "COVID era" without any problem. I think we all need to be a bit more fearless, to be honest. Jx
When you came back...all were in the office lobby when the elevators doors swung open to find you in overly wide brim...lifting head announcing,"I'm back bitches"....much like Ms.Midler in Big Business.
